Effective Techniques to Remember Names and Faces of Customers and Business Associates

 Remembering the names and faces of colleagues, business associates, and clients is an important skill for business success. Here are some effective techniques for remembering this critical information:

1. Associate someone that you've just met with someone else that has the same name. For example, when you meet a new "Mr. Smith", deliberately conjure in your mind the image of the Mr. Smith you already know. Each time you see the new acquaintance, your mind will flash back to the well-known man, and you'll be able to remember the name. Come up with interesting mental imagery to solidify the association. For example, think of the two Mr. Smiths as twin brothers.

2. When you first learn a new name, write it down several times. This reinforces the name through multiple sensory channels. By hearing the name, seeing it in writing, and invoking physical memory through the process of writing, you're less likely to forget the name.

3. Make note of the person's interesting or distinctive facial features. What makes your new acquaintance distinct from other people? Take note of features like eyes, ears, nose, lips, hair, or facial structure. By pondering a person's facial features, you focus on a person's face right away and create a much stronger mental impression. You also create a sense of interest, which is very important for memory retention. Say, for example, you were introduced to someone who promised to pay you $1,000 cash at your next meeting. Chances are you'd automatically study his face and have no trouble conjuring his image or his name. Interest is important.

4. When you hear someone's name being said out loud, deliberately look at the person to whom the name belongs. This reinforces the connection in your mind between the person's name and face. If you forget the name, try to recall the face and you'll have a better chance of remembering it.

5. Pay close attention to your surroundings and your feelings at the time that you meet someone new. Remembering the atmosphere, how you felt, and what you did can also help you remember your introduction to the person, the person's appearance, and other important details about the person.

6. Say the person's name over and over again in your mind. Whenever possible, say the name out loud in context. For example, tell a co-worker "I met Bob Norwiki today." Later, tell your wife "I met a new colleague today, Bob Norwiki. He's going to help out with our new project."

By using these simple but powerful techniques, you'll be better able to remember names and faces. This will serve you well in both your business and personal life.

Change Your Eating Habits And Super Boost Your Intelligence Quotient

Do you feel heavy in your head when you walk around? Is your score in IQ tests too low? You may not feel as active or quick as early or you may be forgetting very commonly used words. This need not be the situation that cannot be dealt with. You can eat certain food items which will help boost your brainpower, clear up your brain and make you think at a quick pace.

Hence if you want to increase your intelligence level (and your IQ- your score in IQ tests) to the highest level read the information given below. It will help you clear up your brain and you will have great thinking power and ability to score higher in IQ tests. Your memory also depends on your eating habits.

Fish Oil

"Fish is a food for your brain" is an old belief. But nowadays fish is very polluted with mercuy and dangerous substances, so I will not recommend fish for consumption. Instead, I suggest to eat fish oil. It has fats which contain DocasaHexanenoic Acid and is beneficial for the brain and acts as a protective layer.

A majority of our brain is made up of fat and that fat is either DocasaHexanenoic Acid or Arachidonic acid. Arachidonic acid is found in unprocessed dairy products like  butter and DocasaHexanenoic Acid is found only in fish and not in any other plant or vegetation.

It is very important to use a fish oil which is exceptionally good and has good reputation. I have done research and have clinical with patients, which shows the following trends.

1.    Liquid form of fish oil is far better than capsules.
2.    Not all brands are good
3.    Carlson's brand is the best and purest of all existing brands today.

It may not be the only brand that is exceptionally good, but till now I have come across many and have found that carlson's brand is the best as far as fish or cod liver oil is concerned. You can find this brand at Mercola.com or at any health store near your house.

Vegetables

Nothing can ever match the nutritions that pure vegetables can provide us. Alzheimer's has been known to occur because of deficiency of folic acid (green vegetables are very rich with it). Similarly, there are many other elements, antioxidants and phytochemicals that vegetables provide us with and can help us in keeping our brains sharp.

The easiest way to eat enough of vegetables is to prepare vegetable juice on a regular basis.

But the  type of your metabolism is a key factor to decide what all you need to consume. For example, if you are a protein metabolic type, you need not eat vegetables. You can have half of what is usually recommended. That is for a protein type adult, one can eat half a pound of vegetable and this will be sufficient.

If you are a protein type of guy your diet should consist of low potassium vegetables like beans. Lettuces and the usual diet like collard greens have high potassium content and may cause biochemical imbalance. Also, if you have a metabolic type you also don't need much vegetable juice consumption. A carbohydrate metabolic type wil beneft if he consumes more vegetables like collard greens, kale, Swiss chard etc. These are very  much not suggested for the protein types.

I do recommend organic food if you want to get the most nutritious input, but if you cannot afford to buy them, don't give up eating vegetables altogether. Eating vegetables in any form, organic or not is good and better not have them in your ration at all.

Raw Eggs

The best source for high quality nutrition is raw whole egg. It is also very much affordable by all. It is especially for those who are protein deficient. You may face some difficulty initially to eat them, but you will greatly improve your health, if you eat raw egg. Boiled or cooked eggs will not result in the same, so the lesser you cook the egg the more nutrition you will consume.

How To Keep The Brain Healthy

As you grow up and learn from your mistakes it is clear that your brain is functioning correctly. Your brain keeps getting better the more you learn. This helps you live a more productive life. The longer you live the more new talents and skills you accumulate to help you live a healthier life.

Your brain acquired a great deal of knowledge in your younger years. Everything you learned as far as skills made your brain be stronger. Just think that you get better with the more practice you get, this happens as you age. As you get more educated your talking capabilities are improved greatly. You also need to learn how to manage your stress levels too, because stress can upset the brain's ability to think straight.

The older you get usually the wiser you become. The opportunities and challenges on top of decision making helped to improve your brain. Always be prepared for the different challenges life throws at you and have a positive attitude.

The brain functions through more information being put into it, and it also ties the different parts of your body together so that is functions correctly. No one is ever too old to be able to learn new things.

As you age you need to stay connected with your friends and family. The more contact you have with your friends and family the sharper your mind works. You learn from the people that surround you and this will assist you is staying sharp mentally.

As you get older watch your diet to maintain brain health. Consume numerous green leafy vegetables and all sorts of fruit. Vegetables supply your brain with many important nutrients, which enables it to perform properly. This is not hard to believe since vegetable can ward off cancer.

Vegetables and fruits are packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals on top of being low with the calories and fat. Antioxidants benefit you in many ways including lowering the amount of damaged or dieing cells in your body. Blueberries are known to help with certain memory functions.

Only a small number of doctors don't want you taking herb or vitamin supplements. As you age your diet often changes by you eating less quantity of food and you have to make sure that nothing interferes with your medications. Check with your doctor to make certain you are taking the right vitamins, this way you will know that you are supplementing your diet the right way.

Stress Reducers:
Stress often times can control your life, harming your body as well as your brain. You cannot remove all stress from your life, but you can eliminate as much of it as possible. Then you need to decide how to deal with the rest of the stress, by having as much pleasantries in your life as you can too. It is vital that you keep stress from taking a death grip on your life. Too much stress can lead to depression easier the older you get.

Your brain produces hormones to help you deal with some of the stress, but when too many of the hormones are produced damage can result to your nerve cells. When the hormones then are produced too fast and in too high a quantity depression can happen.

Relieve your stress that is causing you problems, because stress is hard on anyone to endure. You need to get the things off your mind that you can't control, and just concentrate on what you can control. Do an activity you enjoy so that you can relax your mind and forget about what is stressing you. Have some fun and be happy !

It takes time to adjust your life as you get older to benefit your needs and health. It can be a challenge at times to change, but this can relax you from stress, and help your brain to function better through a chance to learn a new way of doing things.

Mental Illness Avoidance Based On Benefits Of Exercise and Playing Games For Your Brain

There are a lot of different types of mental illness, and each type affects those who suffer from it differently. That's why it's so hard to diagnose the condition and then to find the right treatment for it. With treatment, the goal is to help those who suffer from mental illness have the highest quality of life possible.

There's no known cure for most types of mental illness, but most can be treated, which is the next best thing to cure. In some cases, brain exercises may help reduce the effects of some types of mental illness, such as Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's occurs when people (mostly elderly, but not always) begin to have difficulty remembering things. Its onset and progression is usually slow, but ultimately, it makes someone's quality of life very poor. Eventually, those who suffer from Alzheimer's need constant care so as to avoid injuring themselves and sometimes others.There has been some research to show that utilizing brain exercises may indeed help slow the progression of diseases like Alzheimer's, if not negate them altogether.

Therefore, it's up to you to keep your mental faculties sharp, especially as you get older. As you get older, your cognitive abilities may indeed decline somewhat, but it doesn't really have to be this way for most people. Rather, you can absolutely continue to improve cognitively as you age. Many people don't realize that they can and should do "brain exercises" to keep their minds sharp.

In fact, it's common to simply "let things happen" any way they do, but this isn't always the best way to stay on top of things. Can you really expect your mind to stay sharp and your brain to function as it should if you don't "exercise" it just as you do your muscles? To that end, have defined goals as to what you want to accomplish with your brain exercises, just as you do those for your body.

In fact, "brain exercises" have become common preventative treatments to reduce mental illness's risks, and to help people stay mentally fit. And lest you think you're too old to start now even if you have never done so, think again. It's never too late to work on keeping your mind sharp well into your old age. That's good news, because too often, people assume that what has always been done is what needs to continue. Sometimes, though, change has to happen. Even though this can be difficult, you can do it if you have a game plan, so to speak, and dedication to focus on your mental faculties and on "exercising" them.

It is true that it's never too late to start exercising your mind even if you haven't already, but that said, the earlier you start, the better. If you're younger when you start mentally exercising, you can even further reduce the risk of mental illness or other mental deterioration versus someone who is older when they start.

There's a lot of research that has to be done yet for this area, but it still can't hurt to start now if you haven't. The more you engage in mental excess, the better things will be for you. If you put the effort into staying cognitively sharp, you'll live a life that's healthier and happier over the long haul. Spend some time working on this area in your life, and you'll find that your hard work will pay off in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Even several decades from now, you can be productive and confident that you are an engaged member of society. Indeed, you give yourself personal power if you engage in the type of brain exercising you need to stay sharp, so don't sell yourself short or underestimate what this can do for you.

You'll also be able to balance mental and physical health if you engage in brain exercise. This is because both physical and mental fitness are important components of looking and feeling your best. If you're not paying attention to one or the other (or both) as you should be, you're going to suffer. Therefore, make sure that you actually exercise your brain just as you do your body; it's as important to exercise mentally as it is to do so physically.

Again, brain exercises do offer many benefits to you, so that's a very good reason for you to participate in them. If you participate in these types of activities, you can reduce the chances that you'll suffer from mental deterioration, as you get older. These benefits do exist, although research is still outstanding as to what they are, exactly. Nonetheless, take the time to give yourself the opportunity to take benefit from these tools
