Academic performance and various other means to increase IQ work that come in the form of learning something new, taking on a project, solving a problem, and such will all depend upon your own self-confidence related to your cognitive power. To be considered an intelligent person, you need to trust yourself that you would be capable of dealing with issues and making decisions related to accomplishing goals intelligently.
There is nothing wrong with being the smartest person in the room. Yet, it can be truly ugly when someone tries to show off intelligence which is why those with confidence and maturity can display intelligence without looking arrogant in the process. Whether your intelligence is of the street variety of from an academic level, you will need to maintain an air of being humble in order to make the proper presentation.
Employ affirmations as a means of reminding yourself you possess the intelligence needed to do well on a test, perform a job, or increase IQ. Post notes and signs of such affirmations each and every day. You can also keep a journal and pat yourself on the back regarding your bright ways of thinking.
Raise your hand in class or in a formal meeting to reply to inquiries. You can also raise new themes in a meeting. Start discussions which lead people to think. A person who is emotionally secure is never afraid to show intellect in a group.
You could undergo test designed to confirm your intelligence as well as learn how to increase IQ. If an IQ test is available, take part in it. You could ask a counselor to allow you to take part in an emotional intelligence test. Through determining your scores on these tests, you can validate your self-image and embrace your IQ in an easier manner.
You may wish to make comrades out of people who have a tendency to be levelheaded. When you spend time with those who are sharp and intelligent as school or the office, you will not have to dull down your vocabulary. You will be forced to challenge your thought process in the company of those who share your intellectual and emotional abilities and this can increase IQ immensely.
You should feed your brain via studying. Examine projects, social circles, and books that will boost your ability to learn and mature. Your intelligence might have genetic roots and you may need to challenge yourself further to mature it. By learning new and fresh things and taking on larger challenges, you will develop a new feeling of pride in your intelligence.
When did you last tell yourself how great of a person you are? When was the last time you gave yourself a reward for your competence, intelligence, good looks, and talents? If you are like most people, you will be quick to call attention to those things you did that were not so bright but you also do need to take time out and acknowledge the times when you have done things that are worth praise.
The huge personal benefits in acknowledging yourself is significant. Not only will it increase IQ and your self-worth, it can eradicate highly negative thoughts along the lines of thinking you need to be perfect. You need to realize you are still a capable person even when you make a mistake. You are even “okay” when you get into the occasional bad mood. Everyone gets off track at some point and that is okay as long as you are capable of getting things back in order. Just start off by accepting the greatness you possess.
Pull out a blank sheet of paper. Write down a number of glowing, positive qualities that clearly state who you are. The results might prove astonishing. In fact, you could even write “I’m astonishing” as your beginning entry. Ultimately, you want to enjoy each and every second of the day.

“I like nonsense; it wakes up the brain cells.” – Dr. Seuss
Helping your child develop his/her brain starts in the womb. The baby’s body is not the only thing growing and developing in the womb, the brain is working away as well. That’s why special care must be taken from day one, to ensure that the child is born healthy, both physically and mentally. The mother needs to choose carefully her diet and her lifestyle, in order to give her baby the best chance in life.
The mother will tell you how tired she sometimes feels while she’s pregnant. This is because the baby’s brain is making a quarter of a million new neurons every minute, as well as new connections between those neurons. Now you know what hard work goes into making sure that the baby is healthy, mentally and physically.
Doctors have determined that newborn babies can recognize their mother’s voice, which shows that their memory was developing before their birth. Their little brain is only about one-fourth developed when they’re born. Their skulls and their brains will continue to grow until they reach adulthood. By the time the child is ten years old, his brains will have formed billions of new connections.
Is there a difference between boys’ brains, and girls’ brains? A male brain develops from the back to the front, which is developing the “doing” part before the “thinking” part. A female brain develops the other way around. The “thinking and language” part develops first, then the “doing” part.
Any parent will tell you how quickly a child grows in the first year of life. Every aspect of the child is involved – their behavior, understanding, and the way they interact with others in their family. At this point, the brain of that child may look like any adult’s brain, but the changes have only just begun. By the time that child is three years old, that little brain has made a thousand trillion connections—twice as many as an adult. That’s just the tip of the iceberg in their development. Their social, emotional, and intellectual development will undergo a mind-boggling surge of activity from this age to the age of ten. Believe it or not, their brain activity during this time is twice that of a grown adult.
The reason for so much activity? A child experiences more in a short time than an adult. They learn to crawl, walk, run and explore. Reasoning and behavior come next, as well as memory; and of course, the biggest experience of all that separates us from the animals – language!
The difference in the brains of children and adults has to do with the acquisition of language. An adult brain processes language in the left hemisphere of the brain. However, scientists have discovered that, until a year old, babies can respond to language with their entire brain. Then, as they grow older, it shifts to the left hemisphere.
Language is the area that parents, teachers, and child-care providers have always understood to be of primary importance in the first years of life. It encompasses more than just reading. It also involves story telling and singing, and even just the common everyday exchange between the adult and the child. Children love to converse with the adults in their lives, and the give and take conversations can have an enormous impact on the child’s language skills.
Working on the child’s language skills helps with more than just improving their intellect. It also helps the child with social and emotional skills. As the child begins to develop his/her brain as an infant, reading becomes the biggest and most important way to help wire your child’s brain for continued learning.
We’ve already determined that a child’s brain is a place of rapid activity to the age of ten, forming connections or synapses constantly. What causes their little brains to form these connections? Is it in their genes, or is it mostly environmental? Scientists have determined that genes have some control over this process, but what is crucial in the development of the brain’s ability to form connections has to do with the experiences they encounter in life. It’s true that having an adult read to the child, and other positive stimulations of this sort, have a profound impact on the child’s brain development. This helps to create new neural pathways, as well as fortifying existing pathways.
As the child moves on towards adulthood, the pathways that are used repeatedly become stronger, but those that are not used often enough are discarded. This happens at a rapid rate once the child enters adolescence. Don’t let this worry you as a parent; it’s all completely natural. It’s more of a pruning process, and is in fact advantageous to the human brain. By discarding unnecessary connections, the ones that remain can grow stronger and healthier. It actually creates space for the more useful and favorable synapses and makes the brain function more efficiently.
So, there’s a new way of thinking and training the brain of children. We know now that it’s not only the genes you’re born with that have to do with the brain’s development, but also the experiences you gather along the way. Scientists also know now that early childhood experiences have a huge impact on the brain’s development and your capacities as an adult.
The relationship between the child and the early childhood caregiver, that is besides the parents, the teachers, the babysitters, etc., have an enormous impact on the way that child’s brain becomes wired for learning. Scientists have also learned that it’s not just a steady flow of development from infancy to adulthood, but that there are prime times in the life of the child that’s best for them to acquire different kinds of knowledge and skills.
So, the good news is that while it’s no easy task to help your children develop their brains, there are many, many ways you can help them. Keep them stimulated, keep those synapses firing back and forth; and to do that, you must read to them, talk to them, and tell them stories and jokes. Positive interaction is essential to their intellectual growth.
That brings us to the bad news about training the brains of children. Studies show that at least one in four children under the age of six are growing up in impoverished situations. The nutrition or lack there of for the expectant mothers, as well as that of the children, medical care, even the safety of the environments they have to live in, affect those tiny brains. Poverty can affect the stress levels of their parents, and constant working prevents those parents from the necessary interaction with the children. If all they do is work, they have no time to read and interact with the children.
Children raised in poverty situations have an increased chance of exposure to drugs, alcohol, violence and abuse. These conditions are not limited to only economically disadvantaged children, but are simply more likely to occur in those situations.
Researchers have noted more developmental delays and learning difficulties in such kids than in the more advantaged children, and that’s because these early negative experiences have a huge impact on brain development. They are proving conclusively that poverty definitely influences these early childhood experiences.
Given the right circumstances, how smart can we make our children? Scientists have determined that a mere ten minutes a day of brain stimulation can create a brain with a standard I.Q or Intelligence Quotient. What if we added more stimulation to a child’s day? Would an extra hour or two make a big difference? Could we, in effect, create children with super mental powers?
A prime example of the possibilities of this scenario would be the amazing life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. His father, Leopold, was one of Europe’s leading musical teachers and was Wolfgang’s only teacher in the early years of his life. The result was that the young Mozart began learning to play the organ, violin, and the clavier when he was only three years old and was composing when he was five!
Prodigies, like Mozart, are not necessarily born smart or talented, but can be created by the parents and other caregivers. Stimulation every day causes the child to think more, thus producing more brain growth. Left on their own, children will find lots to do to entertain themselves, but more structured stimulation will produce more desired results. Young brains have been compared to small sponges, soaking up information all the time from all around them. Give them the desired information to produce the desired result.
How early is too early to learn to read? If the child is able to handle the spoken language, it’s a good time to start teaching him/her to read. A child’s brain is so ready and willing to tackle new skills, so able to handle all the new connections, that reading is actually amazingly easy for the young brain.
The parents are actually the ideal people to teach their children to read. It requires love, patience and determination, things parents already possess in abundance. They needn’t have a college degree to be qualified to teach their children this skill.
“If I appear to see further than others it is because I sit on the shoulders of giants,” said Baron Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibnitz
We can help our children stand on our shoulders and attain everything they want in life. Then we need to teach them to boost up their own children, and be the shoulders they stand upon.
IQ and intelligence increasing is one of those topics where most people think they don’t have a choice. People say intelligence is genetic, that you can’t increase it, that it’s all to do with education etc etc. But i say this to you now:
Society is full of lies.
And these lies which people say have limited the true potential and GENIUS that lies within us.
Just think for a moment, the geek in high school with the straight A’s and the medicine degree, what did he do to deserve his intelligence?
And think similarly too about the poor guy who worked and worked hard, only to end up with CCD grades and a life where “intelligence” and “analysis” isn’t his strength…..what did he do to deserve that?
You see, your intelligence will and can increase if you first BELIEVE that you can. Then you need to INTEND that you will ACT to increase your intelligence. And then it will increase.
I want to teach you a quick method to increase your IQ. Act and use this method because it works!
I want to start explaining this technique by asking you a question that in turn reveals a great SECRET about increasing your intelligence.
The question is:
What do you think is the typical human concentration span?
10 minutes?
20 minutes?
40 minutes?
2 hours?
The answer will gobsmack you. The answer actually is
………..
………..
………..
7 seconds!!!
7 seconds??!?!? i hear you say! Yep, you read that right!
Our average CONCENTRATION span is actually only about 7 seconds. (range is between 4-11 since it depends on your intelligence level) Free Mind Movies -Just Visualize IT!
Scary huh? It might seem hard to believe but prove it to yourself right now so you know I’m telling the truth:
1. Look at a fine and distinct quality of an object (eg the colour, the edge, the shape)
2. place your CONCENTRATION on the object
3. NOTICE how your CONCENTRATION on that quality wavers to another quality of the object, within seconds.
You see, you might be able to focus your attention on a task for 40 minutes+, but you cannot focus your concentration on a particular quality for more than a few seconds!!!
Your concentration ability is the most fundamental “tool” which you have for all intellectual endeavours
And here lies a secret to increasing your intelligence.
Since your concentration span is so tiny, if you can find a technique to INCREASE your concentration span, BY EVEN A SECOND, it will lead to a HUGE increase in concentration ability overall.
And this technique is what im about to reveal to you.
TECHNIQUE: PSEUDO TELEKINESIS (AVERAGE IQ GAIN= 5-15 POINTS)
1. Obtain a coin and place it in front of you
2. Make sure you are in a comfortable sitting place and in a location in which you will not be disturbed
3. Look at the coin from a distance of 30 to 40cm away and concentrate your full attention on the look of the coin. Try and concentrate on its shape more than its particular features. Do not touch the coin
4. Place your thoughts on the side-edge of the coin and try and force all your thoughts to be concentrated on that edge. By thoughts, i am NOT talking about images or words in your mind, just simply the force of your concentration on the coin.
5. You should imagine that the thoughts which you are exerting act as the force to make the coin move. Mentally push with your thoughts towards the edge of the coin. If the coin moves, replace it with a non-metallic object as your emphasis here is not real telekinesis
6. You must maintain as much as possible, your concentration on the shape of the coin by looking directly at it, but also by attempting to force your thoughts onto its edge.
7. If you are performing the technique correctly, you will become unaware of your surroundings. If you become distracted (which you will at first), turn your attention back to the coin and doggedly attempt to maintain it.
8. You can repeat for any object of your choice, but a small metal object is desirable since this attracts the brainwaves towards the focal point you are concentrating on, thus allowing them to become more precise.
Other Effects of This Technique
1. Increased listening ability
2. Increased mathematical ability
3. Ability to sustain more complex arguments
4. Increased ability to extract relevant information from sources
5. Increased ease of memorization
You should easily get an extra 5-15 IQ points on your existing IQ score using this technique. Practice for 6 days out of 7.

Most people believe that intelligence cannot be increased. They say that intelligence is genetic or that education is the key, or that you’ll never be smart etc etc. But the truth is, intelligence will always be increased if you know how. In fact, did you know that simple techniques can increase your IQ to over 180? I will explain this to you right now.
What I’m about to say might seem obvious but it isn’t so please pay attention, and this will reveal HUGE secret on how to increase your IQ and intelligence Free Mind Movies -Just Visualize IT!
I’m going to ask you a totally 100% strange question which i bet you definitely 99% you will NOT get the right answer. This will reveal a massive secret about reaching the 180 IQ.
The question is:
” When you think, do you MAKE the thoughts you’re thinking?”
………..
………..
Confused? Weird question huh? Let me ask you again then…………
Do you MAKE the thoughts you think?
…………
………..
Aha. The answer is actually NO.
You ever MAKE the thoughts YOU think
Instead, you actually RECEIVE the thoughts!
Who would have guessed! You see my student, you are actually RECEIVING your thoughts from your SUBCONSCIOUS mind which is the seat of your intelligence.
The thoughts you have come from the subconscious and are received by your conscious mind which is the process of how you get the thoughts.
And there believe it or not, ACTUALLY, lies the secret to the 180 IQ. The Secret Is This: By accelerating the process of how thoughts are received, you can have more thoughts and ideas. Ie, your intelligence will increase and you will have ACCESS to the hidden treasures of the GENIUS within the subconscious mind!
Damn i feel smart. Did you get it? Or do you need to increase your IQ so that you do get it?
So we we want to be using specific means to make sure this happens. One more thing, acceleration of thoughts is fundamental. However, so to is expansion
You see, to accelerate the process of your thoughts will give you a 180 IQ but also expanding the source of where your thoughts are received will give you a greater thought reservoir from which to think. So not only will your thoughts come thick and fast, but you will have GREATER BRAIN POWER because you have more resources when it comes to thinking!
And all of this means a direct increase in
1. reasoning ability
2. problem solving ability
3. mathematical ability
4. listening ability
5. memory ability
6. creativity
And so on. And so forth.
So would you like to be a genius? You know, your wasting your time reading this article and not ACTING to become a genius. Surely you want to ACT to get what you WANT, don’t you? See, I once felt proud of myself for KNOWING what created GENIUS levels of intelligence but an idiot at the same time for not knowing how to PRACTICE to get that intelligence. My advice is to SEEK and you will find. If i give you it all on a plate, you simply wouldn’t see its value.

Very few people would turn down a chance to improve the way they think, if they knew how to go about it. When you have the ability to think more effectively, you can make better decisions and become a much more efficient thinker. You will learn new things faster and easier, achieve that potential that has been hiding inside you, and improve all aspects of your life.
That all sounds really good to everyone who hears about it, but their first question is always, “How can I improve my thinking ability so that I can take advantage of all of these benefits?” You will discover that there are many ways to train your brain to think more effectively. You can maximize your brain power and keep your brain agile as well. A more powerful mind can be yours, and you will be enlightened by the process!
Creative Thinking
How often do you think outside the box, beyond the normal scope of things? You may bemoan the fact that you just do not seem to be quite as creative a thinker as someone else you know who seems to constantly come up with some of the most amazing ideas!
First of all, in order to be a creative thinker, you must stop thinking that you are not. Your thought processes must be allowed to flow freely, without a small inner voice telling you that you do not have a creative imagination.
It has been said by many that creative thinking is rather like a muscle. If it does not get a good workout every so often, it will wither up and be useless, much like a muscle that has atrophied.
How can you spearhead your own creative thinking campaign? Everyone in the world thinks, every single day. However, not everyone thinks in a creative way. Your goal is to come up with different ideas and thoughts that most people would not think of. Many of the products that we use today came from creative ideas that were once thought to be rather fanciful. A creative idea is a concept that not everyone will come up with, though. When the idea hits the mainstream market, you will hear folks exclaim, “Now, why didn’t I think of that?”
Allow yourself to think in a creative way. Take deep, cleansing breaths, and focus on your breathing in order to clear your mind and ready it for the reception of creativity. Use your mind power to visualize different objects and scenes, down to the smallest detail.
Ask yourself a lot of “What if?” questions, and visualize the results, complete with dialogue if applicable. Jot down any ideas you come up with at random, and mull them over when you have the chance. Read everything you can get your hands on, as you never know what might spark a real winner of an idea. One of those ideas may well change your life – or the world!
IMPROVE YOUR MEMORY
Do not let anyone tell you that it is impossible to improve your memory! Everyone can begin a course of action that will lead to memory improvement. Given sufficient time to practice, you can turn the act of rote memorization into an enviable ability. You will be able to memorize large blocks of information with relative ease.
Does this seem impossible to you? Have you always felt that you had a poor memory? The first step you need to take is one of the most important.
STOP TELLING YOURSELF THAT YOU HAVE A PROBLEM REMEMBERING THINGS!
Instead, tell yourself you have a good memory that is going to become even better with a little work, and then take steps toward that goal.
We compared the brain to a muscle up above. Of course, you know that the brain is not a muscle, but the comparison is a just one. Giving your brain regular mental ‘exercise’ will encourage nerve connections to grow there. Once these connections are established, they have the ability to help improve your memory.
KEEP YOUR BODY ACTIVE
Do some sort of exercise on a regular basis. If you are not used to daily exercise, walking is a good way to get started. Make sure that whatever type of exercise you decide on will increase your body’s need for oxygen, i.e., aerobic exercise. This causes better blood flow throughout the brain, and helps it to work more efficiently.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE EATING A NUTRITIOUS DIET
Plenty of fruits and vegetables for antioxidants, and fish to provide Omega-3 fatty acids can help to improve the memory.
BE OBSERVANT
If you consider yourself a forgetful person, perhaps it is because you need to work on being more observant. Have an inquisitive mind, and take notice of your surroundings down to the smallest detail. Of course, this is not a trait that you will be able to develop overnight! You will have to be diligent about making the effort to be observant.
Practice being more observant by perhaps looking a room in your home over carefully, focusing on every little detail. Once you think you have taken it all in, close your eyes and attempt to picture the room and everything it contains in your mind. Keep this up until you can do this exercise without leaving any of the details out. Visualization is a big help in remembering any sort of information.
DEEP THINKING
Anyone who is familiar with the life and work of Albert Einstein could tell you that this esteemed physicist had a deep thinking technique that absolutely worked well for him. Einstein dubbed this technique ‘thought experiments’, and though it was not his own method, it worked extremely well for him.
Thought experiments were easy to accomplish and to understand, and they can work for you as well as they did for Einstein. Basically, you sit comfortably with a relaxed mind and start to visualize yourself in a certain scene. Most people choose a subject for their scene that ties in with whatever task they may be trying to accomplish on that particular day.
Once you have reached this point in the deep thinking technique, you will allow the creative power that naturally dwells deep within your unconscious mind to take over. You are creating what some would call a movie of the mind, and you will be watching what your unconscious produces.
In fact, you will be so deep within your subconscious mind that it is likely you will fall into a deep sleep. Einstein managed this interruption by clasping a rock in each hand, so that when he fell asleep, they would fall on the floor. The resulting noise would be enough to wake him from his slumber, and he would immediately be able to go back to his thought experiment.
A deep thinker is in the habit of asking questions of himself and of others that are quite deep and profound. Unlike shallow questioning, these queries can be a question within a question. You will find that you are asking ‘Why?’ a lot. Each time you ask, the question will lead you further into the subject, and often will branch out into a new one. This is the nucleus of deep thinking.
Take the time to think about the words you use, both in conversation with others and in the running discourse with yourself that you carry on in your mind. Try not to take the definitions of these words too literally, for if you do, you will limit your thinking. Ask yourself why certain words have the meaning that they do.
DEALING WITH DISTRACTIONS
A typical day is full of distractions for most of us. Distractions can be external, such as someone speaking in a loud voice, an ever-ringing telephone, or anything that can be detected by the five senses. Distractions can also be internal, such as daydreams and persistent thoughts that just will not go away. When your attention continues to be diverted in any way, shape, fashion or form, you are naturally unable to concentrate on the task at hand.
Research has proven that both mental and physical distractions can affect short- term memory. It goes without saying that if you are forgetting things that just happened, they are not hanging around in your brain long enough to be transferred to your long term memory! Focus is necessary in order to remember, and it is difficult to focus when you are distracted.
You may be in a situation where it is impossible for you to banish the source of the distraction, so in order to continue what you were doing before the distraction started, you must learn to focus your attention on that task in such a way as to not be distracted. Our concentration improves tremendously when we focus on just one thing at a time.
Multi-tasking is commonplace in today’s world, but it can also be very distracting when there is a need to totally concentrate on just one thing. Scientific studies have proven that as the brain begins to fill up with information, our concentration suffers, and it may not be possible to summon up enough free memory to have the ability to ignore distractions.
This is especially true when it comes to visual memory, so it is a good idea not to attempt any sort of mental task when there is a chance of visual distraction. For example, driving a car can bombard you with all sorts of visual distractions. Other automobiles and people, trees, flowers, houses and other buildings, and signs and billboards on the side of the road can compete with your thoughts for your complete attention. Driving a car demands your complete attention without roadside distractions or a multi-tasking brain! Be safe, and do not venture into deep thought while driving.
Even as you are able to build your muscles through exercise and discipline, it’s possible to build up or supercharge your I.Q. With practice and common mental exercises. Journaling helps you to center, look for answers to issues and generate originative answers when you use a diary to put down thoughts, ideas and aspirations. Draw diagrams to map problems you’re attempting to solve. As they keep the challenges coming in, games force you to think, react and pick faster than you have to in real life. Play competitive games that call for strategic thinking, like chess.
Take ascorbic acid and vitamin E. Their antioxidants clear away toxins and protect the integrity of your brain cells. Vitamin C is great for clearing off mental fog and bettering focus. Vitamin E’s antioxidant results are stronger than those of Vitamin A, and help clear the way for nutrients to get to your brain.Take a deep breath. Great brain health calls for plenty of oxygen. Mind function is bettered with relaxation and oxygenation, and low oxygen levels have been associated to decreased brain function. Attempt centered breathing or meditation. Breathe really slowly and deeply while aiming your awareness to one particular area of your body at a time. This relaxes and centers your brain. Do the crossword. Puzzles that call for originative solutions extend the dendrites, your brain’s neurons that carry electrical impulses from one component of the brain to the other.
Get some exercise. Aerobic action helps blood circulation, which aids brain function.Get rest. Lack of sleep has a damaging effect on brain function. The brain requires good quality sleep, not just loads of sleep. Discover material that makes you imagine and challenges your presumptions. Pick out material outside your conventional interests to extend your thinking and make your mind work harder.Discover fresh connections. Let your brain float where it wishes for a couple of minutes daily. Attempt to discover connections between seemingly unconnected objects or thoughts, coercing your brain to form fresh neural links. Consider how info you know fits together with fresh things you’re learning.

Everyone has heard of an IQ test. The potential of the brain is called intelligence quotient or I.Q. These tests use the theories of unitary and multiple, which is believed to the two main theories when studying the brain.
Unitary refers to the part of the brain where the linguistic and mathematical capacities and confined them to that area. While the multiply theory include the parts of the brain that use visual/ spatial, musical/rhythmic, body/kinesthetic, interpersonal or intrapersonal development.
It has been determined that there is only three ways to increase your brains potential.
You first have to determine what you are good at. Very few people are good at everything. A person is considered intelligent whether their skill is derived from music, visual, body, or intrapersonal, intelligence.
Most people possess these skills and probably do not even realize it. If you are a creative person at heart, try your hand at writing, acting or singing.
You may be amazed at how well you do. Some people are born with in affinity for numbers; you may not think it is anything special, however others may. There are so many different areas in which you the potential excel.
Gymnastics, Dancing, building or designing, you do not know what you are capable of doing until you try. You get the most amazing feeling when you accomplish something you have never done before. If you do not even try, you are doing yourself a great disservice.
Very few people are classified as geniuses. A genius is a person who has extreme intelligence. Such people include Einstein, Mozart and Bach. These brilliant men accomplished greatness through their genius. This is not to say that you have to be a genius to be successful. It simply means that you should use your brain to the fullest extent that you can. The more you try to improve yourself, the more your brain will benefit from it. When you utilize your brains potential you can achieve anything. Using your will power can point you in the right direction.
Broadening your horizons will also increase your brains potential. This is not to say that you should sit down and study the encyclopedia. When you study, you are acquiring knowledge through all five senses- touch, taste, see, smell, and taste.
You want to learn from your experiences in life, and experience everything in life. You cannot do that by studying. This is an excellent way to increase the potential of your brain.
New skills can be learned everyday. Talent comes in two forms, either you are born with it or you learn it. The brain is like a sponge, ready to absorb everything that is brought to it. The old adage that practice makes perfect holds true.
It is not difficult to maximize the brains potential. Many people everyday do it without even realizing it.
By simply reading a book, or singing along to your favorite song on the radio, you can increase your brains potential.
There are many IQ tests that one can take; however, many people question the accuracy of these tests.
Do you feel heavy in your head when you walk around? Is your score in IQ tests too low? You may not feel as active or quick as early or you may be forgetting very commonly used words. This need not be the situation that cannot be dealt with. You can eat certain food items which will help boost your brainpower, clear up your brain and make you think at a quick pace.
Hence if you want to increase your intelligence level (and your IQ- your score in IQ tests) to the highest level read the information given below. It will help you clear up your brain and you will have great thinking power and ability to score higher in IQ tests. Your memory also depends on your eating habits.
Fish Oil
“Fish is a food for your brain” is an old belief. But nowadays fish is very polluted with mercuy and dangerous substances, so I will not recommend fish for consumption. Instead, I suggest to eat fish oil. It has fats which contain DocasaHexanenoic Acid and is beneficial for the brain and acts as a protective layer.
A majority of our brain is made up of fat and that fat is either DocasaHexanenoic Acid or Arachidonic acid. Arachidonic acid is found in unprocessed dairy products like butter and DocasaHexanenoic Acid is found only in fish and not in any other plant or vegetation.
It is very important to use a fish oil which is exceptionally good and has good reputation. I have done research and have clinical with patients, which shows the following trends.
1. Liquid form of fish oil is far better than capsules.
2. Not all brands are good
3. Carlson’s brand is the best and purest of all existing brands today.
It may not be the only brand that is exceptionally good, but till now I have come across many and have found that carlson’s brand is the best as far as fish or cod liver oil is concerned. You can find this brand at Mercola.com or at any health store near your house.
Vegetables
Nothing can ever match the nutritions that pure vegetables can provide us. Alzheimer’s has been known to occur because of deficiency of folic acid (green vegetables are very rich with it). Similarly, there are many other elements, antioxidants and phytochemicals that vegetables provide us with and can help us in keeping our brains sharp.
The easiest way to eat enough of vegetables is to prepare vegetable juice on a regular basis.
But the type of your metabolism is a key factor to decide what all you need to consume. For example, if you are a protein metabolic type, you need not eat vegetables. You can have half of what is usually recommended. That is for a protein type adult, one can eat half a pound of vegetable and this will be sufficient.
If you are a protein type of guy your diet should consist of low potassium vegetables like beans. Lettuces and the usual diet like collard greens have high potassium content and may cause biochemical imbalance. Also, if you have a metabolic type you also don’t need much vegetable juice consumption. A carbohydrate metabolic type wil beneft if he consumes more vegetables like collard greens, kale, Swiss chard etc. These are very much not suggested for the protein types.
I do recommend organic food if you want to get the most nutritious input, but if you cannot afford to buy them, don’t give up eating vegetables altogether. Eating vegetables in any form, organic or not is good and better not have them in your ration at all.
Raw Eggs
The best source for high quality nutrition is raw whole egg. It is also very much affordable by all. It is especially for those who are protein deficient. You may face some difficulty initially to eat them, but you will greatly improve your health, if you eat raw egg. Boiled or cooked eggs will not result in the same, so the lesser you cook the egg the more nutrition you will consume.
